First Day of School!

Sleeveless cardigan (B.P. Nordstroms), basic T (B.P. Nordstroms), striped bandeau (Forever 21-H81), leggings (Forever 21), fringed boots (Steve Madden/Nordstroms)

For the first day of school I wanted to wear something casual because it's only school, but dress up a little for the sake of putting on a good impression. Plus, who doesn't like to dress up on the first day of school?!

I have a thing for laced backings! I love it because it just adds a little "oomph" if your outfit is plain, or can just compliment an outfit that's already nice.

I know some people hate wearing leggings alone like that, but as long as you keep the crotch hidden it'll be all good! Hahaha.

These boots are my ultimate favorite because it's so comfy, and I don't really like wearing flats/sandals all the time. I don't know why on earth any girl would go to school in heels.. but hey, if that makes you feel confident than go for it! (: I personally feel awkward because everyone else is dressed down!

Okay, I know I'm really late on this. Like 15 days late hahaha, but here is my first post of 2011!

White blouse (Forever 21), Black high waisted shorts (H&M), Blazer (Forever 21), Belt (Forever 21), Heels (Nordstroms/Prada)

So it was one of my bestfriend's birthday recently and went out for dinner last night. We all decided to come dressy/casual. I decided to wear my black high waisted shorts because being high waisted to me makes it dressy without having to be a skirt. No one can go wrong with a white button up because you can wear it in so many ways! I completed the look with a thick brown belt and a blazer, so it wouldn't look so plain.

I really should stop wearing my watch all the time because it seems to kill the look, but I can't help feeling naked without it! ):

Casually Dressed

My cousin on the left wore a simple sexy black dress to the wedding. Her dress was from Cache!

This past week was my cousin's wedding in Cozumel, Mexico. It was absolutely beautiful and nonetheless a very great experience.

Since the wedding was a beach ceremony, I decided to wear a sun dress to keep it simple, but added heels and a belt to add a little more dressy feel. Like I said ACCESSORIES did the trick also haha.

I feel so guilty because I dressed up so many times during the week, but I didn't bother taking any pictures!

Fashion Tip!

I've been so busy with school, I've been dressing like dirt everyday.

So instead of having a new outfit for the day, here's a tip!

If your outfit is looking plain, or simple, the EASIEST way to make it look nice is to ADD ACCESSORIES. I swear this is the best thing ever to make a simple plain t, tank, or whatever is look HOT. Add earrings, necklaces, rings, tights (if it matches) and you'll be all set (: Even adding a spunky purse will help!

I hope everyone had a great day today! I got to see my family today (: I love seeing my family because they make everything so much better. I forgot how much I missed them all until I saw them today. We had deep friend turkey and suuuper yummy stuff.

My cousins! We've stuck together since we were little. I'm the little one in the middle. I forgot to take a picture of my outfit ): But anyway, I wore a simple black blazer (Forever 21), turquoise tank top (Nordstrom B.P), basic denim shorts (Abercrombie), black stockings (target), and grey block heels (Forever 21).

This is going to be my simple fashion blog. Honestly, I'm just random girl who found a love for fashion randomly. I really wanted to start my own fashion blog just to have fun!
